Dec 16,  · Not only are there photos of horses and ponies, but throughout the whole book are very nice illustrations. There are several different topics, such as when a horse is born, grooming horses, and the type of work that different horses do.

There is even a section with some historical information about what work horses used to do/5(7). I selected this book (Horses and Ponies by Caroline Stamps, ) because I know a lot of children love horses, and this book tells a lot about them.

If I was in 5th grade I would have read it because my grandma rode horses which made me love them. The book has a lot of variety in the ways/5(7).
